XP Surveys is pleased to announce that we have expanded our surveying capabilities with the advanced Trimble X9 3D laser scanner.
This latest investment strengthens our commitment to using modern surveying technology to deliver accurate, efficient and reliable measured building surveys for architects, developers, engineers, construction professionals and property owners across the UK.
The Trimble X9 is an advanced 3D laser scanning system designed for accurate reality capture across buildings, construction sites and complex environments.
Depending on its configuration, the scanner can capture up to one million measurement points per second and record information at distances of up to 150 metres. This allows our surveyors to collect large quantities of spatial data efficiently while creating a detailed digital record of the surveyed property or site.
The system also incorporates automatic calibration and self-levelling technology, supporting consistent data collection throughout the survey.
The speed of the Trimble X9 allows our team to capture detailed building information more efficiently than would be possible using traditional manual measuring methods alone.
The Trimble X9 is particularly beneficial when surveying:
Efficient data capture can help reduce the time required on site while ensuring that important structural and architectural details are recorded.
The Trimble X9 integrates with Trimble Perspective software, enabling our surveyors to register, review and validate scan data while still on site.
Being able to inspect the collected information immediately helps our team identify potential gaps before leaving the property. This reduces the risk of repeat visits and supports a more efficient workflow from the initial survey through to the production of the final drawings or model.
The detailed point cloud data captured by the Trimble X9 can be processed to produce a range of professional measured survey deliverables.
These deliverables provide architects, designers and construction teams with reliable information to support planning applications, extensions, refurbishments, fit-outs and redevelopment projects.
Investing in the Trimble X9 is part of our ongoing commitment to improving the quality and efficiency of our measured survey services.
Combining advanced 3D laser scanning technology with the experience of our surveyors allows XP Surveys to capture existing conditions comprehensively and deliver clear, coordinated information for the next stage of your project.
XP Surveys provides professional measured building surveys and 3D laser scanning services for residential, commercial and industrial properties across the UK.
If you are planning an extension, refurbishment, redevelopment or construction project, our team can recommend the most appropriate survey specification and deliverables.
