In the modern built environment, geospatial surveys provide the accurate 3D data foundation required for design, planning, and construction. From flood risk analysis and terrain modelling to high-rise development and infrastructure projects, precise spatial data ensures alignment between digital design and physical reality.
At XP Surveys, we deliver engineering-grade geospatial data using 3D laser scanning, UAV photogrammetry, and GNSS control. Our services include measured topography, building surveys, and spatial analysis, providing the reliable information professionals need to reduce risk and make informed decisions.
Our services are designed to support complex, high-value projects where accuracy, detail, and reliability are critical.
We deliver high-resolution measured topographic surveys that capture terrain, features, and constraints with exceptional accuracy. This includes:
These surveys form the foundation for drainage design, flood modelling, infrastructure planning, and landscape architecture.
We specialise in measured surveys of high-rise and complex commercial buildings, providing detailed spatial data for refurbishment, redevelopment and asset management.
Using a combination of 3D laser scanning and drone-based photogrammetry, we capture:
This is essential for office developments, mixed-use schemes, retail environments, and tall structures, where precision is critical for design coordination and compliance.
We provide high-accuracy topographical and geospatial survey data to support flood risk assessments, hydraulic modelling, and sustainable drainage (SuDS) design carried out by specialist consultants.
Using a combination of drone surveys, GNSS control, and detailed measured topography, we capture the terrain and site conditions required for informed flood and drainage analysis.
Our surveys support:
While we do not undertake drainage design or hydraulic modelling, our data provides the reliable foundation required by engineers, hydrologists, and environmental consultants to develop compliant and effective solutions.
This ensures that projects are based on precise, site-specific information, reducing risk and supporting sustainable development.
We undertake detailed 3D laser scanning of bridges, viaducts, and structural infrastructure, capturing complex geometries that are difficult to measure using traditional methods.
Deliverables include:
Ideal for rail, highways, and civil engineering projects where safety and precision are paramount.
We provide advanced spatial analysis to identify terrain obstructions and visibility constraints, supporting:
This ensures that projects are developed with a full understanding of site limitations and spatial relationships.
Our surveys identify and map underground services, reducing risk during excavation and construction.
We support:
This is critical for urban environments and infrastructure-heavy sites.
Using UAV technology, we capture high-resolution aerial data for large and complex sites.
Applications include:
This allows for rapid, safe, and efficient data capture across difficult terrain or restricted areas.
We provide detailed volumetric calculations and terrain modelling, including:
Supporting construction planning, cost estimation, and resource management.
We deliver specialist measured topographical surveys tailored for environmental consultants and landscape architects, capturing the full complexity of natural and semi-natural environments. This ensures that all environmental and landscape proposals are based on robust, high-accuracy site data, improving design quality and reducing planning risk.
Our surveys support:
We capture:
We assist partners through a comprehensive, five-stage geospatial journey:
We move beyond traditional blueprints to provide intelligent, multi-dimensional data environments:
We use Area data from your property's EPC certificate and the UK Ordnance Survey database to calculate your quote estimate. If there is not enough data in the UK database we cannot provide an instant quote, but one of our team will be able to provide a formal written quote by email within 48 working hours. If the database holds incorrect data on your property you will still be provided an estimate, but our fee is subject to change to suit the actual size of your property
